My artist statement

As a dancer, educator, and choreographer, I believe versatility is one of the most valuable tools an artist can have. My training across hip hop, jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, tap, acro, and pom has shaped not only my movement quality, but also my artistic perspective. Each style offers something unique, and I believe that exploring multiple disciplines strengthens artistry, adaptability, technical precision, and performance quality. Every style informs another, allowing dancers to grow into more dynamic and well-rounded artists.

I have a strong appreciation for the technical side of dance and value movement rooted in intention, discipline, and body awareness. My work emphasizes strong foundational training, musicality, precision, and injury prevention, with an understanding that technical excellence and longevity in dance go hand in hand.

Above all, I believe dance should be joyful, empowering, and meaningful. Dance is more than movement. It is storytelling, self-expression, and connection. It creates space to communicate emotions, experiences, and ideas in ways words often cannot. Whether performing, choreographing, or teaching, I strive to create and share work that celebrates both the discipline and freedom that make dance such a powerful art form and sport.
